Dr. Jacob Gallaher is passionate about creating life-changing results through dentures and implant dentistry. He believes that a confident smile can have a lasting impact, and he’s honored to help patients achieve that every day at Des Moines Dentures and Implants. Originally from Iowa, Dr. Gallaher earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He went on to complete advanced clinical training through a residency at The Foundry Dental Center, where he focused on extractions, implants, and grafting procedures. He is also Invisalign® certified and has additional education through the Kois Center and the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Patients appreciate Dr. Gallaher’s down-to-earth nature, clear communication, and commitment to quality care. Whether you’re exploring full-arch implants or transitioning out of dentures, he’ll guide you through the process with compassion and expertise. Outside the office, Dr. Gallaher enjoys spending time with his wife Sami and their two children. You can often find them outdoors with their golden retriever, enjoying sports, playing softball, or biking around Des Moines. A lifelong fan of Iowa State and Iowa athletics, Dr. Gallaher also enjoys watching NFL and Formula 1 racing.
